The Guide: The Navy Pier

Updated: May 29

Pier/Tourist Destination

I had the wonderful blessing of experiencing San Diego with a great friend and one of our In the Spotlight guests, Alesha Hernandez. She coordinated a photoshoot for her colleague where I had the privilege of doing the makeup, styling and photography while they were in town.

The Navy Pier was a lovely welcome stop and, of course, provided unexpected joy. The scale of The Kissing Statue (Unconditional Surrender) sculpture can't be properly assessed in this pic as it is massive because I wanted to capture it all on it's own. The National Salute to Bob Hope and the Military was another sight to see. All-in-all, it was a great trip, and I look forward to returning. Check out these other San Diego Blog posts for more on the adventure: WNDR, The Islander and Santa Fe Depot.
