Over the past few days, the weather has been rainy and fairly unpredictable. The rain showers came in spurts and shifted outdoor plans. But, on July 4th, at exactly 9:30 pm, the sky was clear and ready for the sparkling show(s) ahead.

I say shows because every county had a fireworks show that you could see clearly from the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. I mean, the view was incredible! 22 floors up and a 'front row seat" to the extravaganzas. Every opportunity to reflect on the beauty of the city and moment were present. I knew that I'd be with my family on July 4th to dig in to some good eats, but an unexpected client request added new intention to the earlier part of my day. She was in need of a Summer hair transformation and reached out to your girl MRM for a fresh look. Just in case you didn't know, I have been blessed with many gifts and talents. One of which is that I know how to lay a track! Ha! I'm not talking music, but it's definitely like music to your ears once you see the results.
It's my intention to have my clients, and in most cases also my friends, walk away feeling elevated, excited and confident. As expected, we had great laughs, heartfelt conversations and a little glass or 2 of cocktails as each day is a celebratory occasion, right?!?
After I ate some crabs like my life depended on it and chatted it up with the fam, I headed downtown to take in the festivities with a few friends. As fate seemingly would have it, I enjoyed the view solo, reflected and prepared for the journey ahead. I hope that you all are ready for the ride cuz it's going to be a good one.
